you're not perfect because the other side is so bad

What I see here is that Ingraham et. al. are so bad that it makes it hard for the center-to-left to give air to a discipline that has self examination for it’s own conduct.

Or should I have said that it makes a convenient distraction from what you’re not doing well enough.

It would seem that the energy that the left-of-center is spending on it’s outrage for the vile conduct of the right should be spent trying to integrate new voters. Because they (and I do mean Democrats here) aren’t at the most crucial time when when families are whole, they’ll have to work even harder to get new Americans to participate in the electoral system.
