I understand what Romney is saying: I’ve been to Paris 3 times. My dad had some of the most exciting times of his life there in his 20s when he was in the post WWII occupation Army. I differ from Romney in that I give no quarter to anyone who writes off France all together because the place is so damn fabulous; Romney on the other hand would deny his love of France if push-came-to-shove.
