Summer is here, bringing back hot-n-sticky weather and the smell of charcoal smoke wafting through the air. I can think of nothing better to beat the heat than a cold beer on a hot day, and thankfully craft brewers have taken on the challenge, bringing in new seasonal beers each successive summer.
A few of my faves this time of year:
- Brooklyn Brewery’s Summer Ale (pictured above)
- Schlafly Summer Lager
- Shiner’s Ruby Redbird
- Sixpoint’s “The Crisp” lager
- Boulevard Brewery’s Unfiltered Wheat
- Bell’s Oberon Ale
- Tecate in cans…
