I kind of like to think that the different colors of Sollux’s psionics have different properties if used separately, more just because that would look sweet as hell than anything else. This whole picture is basically an excuse to do a light show. Haha.
Also my follower count has been dipping under and over 222 over the length of my absence so it seemed appropriate enough.

Some pen doodles because I’ve been getting a little too precious with my drawings lately. Need to keep things looser. That said we’ve got:
I don’t usually tag stuff that’s rough or unfinished, (something about that seems kind of weirdly self-important for someone like me) but these seem readable enough.

This is Brainbent fanart by the way, which is the kind of off the wall, hilarious, and surprisingly thoughtful AU that’s part of what makes the Homestuck fandom so awesome.
(It also occurs to me that this is my first fanwork of a fanwork. This is a slippery slope I’m treading here.)
I got the urge to draw some Homestuck characters making uncharacteristic expressions, so we get a pissed off John and a visibly flustered Dave. I wanted to do Rose and Jade too but I couldn’t decide on the expressions.
Also does anyone know why you can’t preview photoset posts? I imagine there’s a reason for it, but I can’t say any come to mind.
So I’m technically not due to post until tomorrow, but I finished this so I might as well put it up. Rose will be up next I think.
(Also wow guys, I know Crabdad is basically the best character in Homestuck, but 111 notes for the naptime doodle? I don’t even know what to say to that. Thanks I guess? Haha.)
I remember a wise man once saying that Funky Dealer would make a really excellent theme for Vriska, and I wholeheartedly agree. Hence this picture. I couldn’t really pin down the Jet Set Radio style (those huge hands and feet man), but I’m pretty okay with how it came out.
Jet Set Radio Future is also an awesome game and I can’t recommend it enough. :D
So originally I was going to ask who you guys thought this character was since it’s rough, but if you can’t tell by this point you might not even read the comic. Haha.
Anyways, this post is mostly just to let you guys know I’m not dead. I started working on this to get back into the animating groove which is fun and awesome but also sort of leaves me bereft of time to work on other art.
And taking a break from Feferi, here’s some Vriska. I was going for something approaching the Jet Set Radio style, but it definitely still needs work in that respect. I like the pose for once at least. Colors may be forthcoming.
Doodle because no matter how many times I do it, I will never draw enough pictures of Rose being a badass.
