    This is Glen James. He has been homeless since 2005. He has a medical problem that sometimes causes dizziness, and lives at a Boston-area shelter where he says he is “very well looked after.” James said he is a religious man and God has always looked after him. 

    Glen found a backpack at the South Bay Mall in the city’s Dorchester neighborhood Saturday evening. He opened the bag, looked inside, and flagged down police and handed the bag over. 

    Inside the bag was $42,000 in cash, traveler’s checks, passports, and other personal papers. 

    My faith in humanity has been restored.
