Nubble Lighthouse
I’m back from a crazy two weeks of travel and boy do I have a lot of images to work through. I’ve shared a few on Facebook already, but this is the first to have an actual blog post with it. The photo I’m sharing today is of the Nubble Lighthouse. This was the first stop on the NXNW 2014 Acadia trip, of which I chased unicorns with nine other photographers.
This trip started out all misty, windy, and rainy. However, that did not deter us from snagging images and kicking-ass along the coast! I very much enjoyed this setting as it made for some pretty great monochrome images. The weather did mean I had to clean filters every few minutes, and when I thought I had removed all the water, I was proven wrong. The amount of dust spot removal in this picture is crazy proof that Ma Nature is a meanie with the water spots.
What a great way to start one of the more epic trips I’ve had this year.
Enjoy!
*SIDE NOTE* I’m still trying to raise money for my Extra Life for Kids fundraiser. You can find out more about this event and what I am doing right here. If you can donate, or even spread the word about this event, it would be greatly appreciated. Any help we can provide sick kids stuck in boring hospitals is a win for us all!
