Bell Helicopter is offering buyouts to some employees as the manufacturer braces for expected cuts in the V-22 Osprey program this year in Fort Worth and next year in Amarillo.
Bell President and CEO John Garrison announced the company’s voluntary separation program Wednesday in a memo sent out to employees.
“As you know, we are expecting a decrease in military programs in the coming years — specifically, V-22 quantity reductions impacting Fort Worth this year and Amarillo in 2014,” Garrison’s memo said.
