What is Canine Enrichment?
“Enrichment is the process for enhancing or improving an animal’s environment; (it) offers choices and gives control to animals; (it) gives animals a job.”
Why is it so important?
“If you don’t use it, you lose it! 40% of pets are overweight and 25% are clinically obese; Most dogs were bred to work/have a job; insufficient stimuli in an animal’s environment can cause many problems…”
