CAMO SS15 Pitti Preview

Suitably named “The Flight Collection”, Stefano Ughetti’s latest creations are based on how traveling back and forth, from one place to the next, directly affects the way you dress. Be it due to the selection of pieces you pack, to your mood on arrival and departure or the way a particular destination has an influence on you, your style will be intrinsically connected to all these variables.

For me, this is one of the best premisses when it comes to dressing and personal style: how one should dress according to the moment, place and most of all, mood. The notion comes to life through a well balanced collection that sets the wardrobe foundations to suit any occasion: from relaxed tees, shorts and overalls, to tailored shirts and suits, all the essentials are there…as usual, with a slight technical or design twist to make them all the more appealing.

Besides the beautifully detailed fabrics, presenting bouclé stripes, dots and intricate woven effects, my attention was drawn to the amazing use of garment dye in light blue and camel, resulting in a variety of summer staples both soft and lightweight.
