Game-changing Ravages, Bruno’s Suits, and Autographed Blink Daggers or Why The International 2014 Was a Huge Success.
I was fortunate enough to attend this years The International 2014 DoTA 2 competition. It’s worth mentioning right off the bat that this championships held a record-winning prize pool of $10,927,840, funded mainly by people who love to play.
This was my first time attending an e-sports event in person, so I wasn’t quite so what to expect. After encountering a real life Legion Commander, losing my voice from cheering, and meeting some of the players in person, I could say it was the most fun experience of my life. I will miss being immersed in a crowd of people who share the same passion for gaming.
The International was nothing short of amazing. TI15 can’t come soon enough.
P.S. Hi fwosh!
