If you haven’t already heard of Sophie Aschauer then you’ve probably seen her beautifully hand woven mats. She took up weaving after a sailing trip to Nantucket where she was inspired by the beautifully coloured marine rope she saw there - aren’t they lovely? I love how inspiration can be found anywhere, and everywhere :)
