In my opinion, Evan Berger of North Hollywood, Calif., is the only one of the semi-finalist men who nailed it for the “Mad Men Casting Call” competition.
Sure, most of the others dressed nicely and probably have very high-quality, expensive suits. But he really got the details and aesthetics of the era down. The detailing here is rather perfect for the era and the show. He could easily be an extra on set.
- A slimmer, simple black tie with a humble tie bar.
- A straight-folded white linen pocket square.
- A simple square-faced watch on a black leather strap.
Put it on a crisp white shirt and a plain wool suit and that’s a winner.
