Hello. I have a quick question. If I don't plan on wearing a tie, should I use other shirts besides button-down? Thank you and keep up the great blog.

You definitely could. I’d just make sure that if you’re going to wear a jacket, then to make sure your collar’s stiff enough to stay up without a tie. I think slouched collars under a jacket look terrible.
