17 Mile Drive – This was the last photo I took today while making my way along the historic 17 Mile Drive. Despite being in the area more than six months, I haven’t seen this portion of the shoreline and decided to spend the day checking it out. Shortly after this photo was taken, a giant set of waves not only soaked my legs, but also overtook my camera from its perch on the rocks and plunged it into the ocean to mix with salt water and sand particles. It is no longer functional.
