The Beauty of Karbala
When the captives comprising of the blessed household of our Beloved Prophet Muḥammad (ﷺ) chained, heartbroken, and wounded were brought to the court of Ibn Ziyād (Yazīds governor in Kūfa) he asked Lady Zaynab (Imām ‘Alī’s eldest daughter and, Imam Ḥusayn’s sister)
“Did you see what God brought to your brother Ḥusayn?”
She replied:
“By God, I saw nothing but beauty.”
