Sigh

So as we head into Halloween, I was looking forward to seeing pictures of witches and cats and pumpkins and all things Halloween related on my dash.

Except, whiny little piss babies who can’t stand female game critics still cause problems because they don’t fucking have anything better to do except live under their rock with their fictitious facts about male oppression (always making it look as though men have it worse than women) with their heads shoved squarely and firmly up their own asses and refusing to listen to a goddamned thing anyone else says ARE STILL BEING WHINY PISS BABIES.

Couple that with the fact that a real tragedy is going on in Ottawa right this minute.  As a shooter fired on a uniformed officer standing guard at the War Memorial (this officer later died in hospital).  The shooter was later killed, but it draws the question that a lot of Canadians are asking; why did this happen?  This doesn’t happen here, some may continue to say.  And in truth, things like this don’t happen here.  They are the kinds of things that happen once every fifteen or twenty years.  It happens so infrequently that when it does happen the entire country grinds to a halt.  Those things aren’t supposed to happen here.

At least on a lighter note, Ruth Bader Ginsburg reads tumblr (Hi RBG if you’re reading this! I’m not American, I’m Canadian, but you still rock!  I want a T-Shirt).

Having said that, on one side there’s whiny piss babies who are complaining about someone pointing out problematic things while trying to point out fictitious problematic things (and are basically the same type of people who say “I have a black friend”), then on the other side there is a real problem taking place in this country I live in.  I know it’s nowhere near as bad as what is going on in the world, but it still makes us stop and think when it hits this close to home.
