I don’t own a TV either, but that’s because there’s other ways to consume television programs.
Like on my laptop.
It’s a very elitist attitude that is often earmarked for other things from games (”pfft! candy crush isn’t a real game”) to books (”I would never own the Harry Potter series on a Kindle”) to comics (”You don’t own each individual issue, just trades? You’re not a real collector”) to movies (”I found the original so much better than the remake”) to movies based on books (”The book is so much better”).
And I will wave my middle fingers at all of them while I read the Dark Tower Series on my Kindle while streaming Strange Empire from cbc.ca on my laptop and playing bejeweled on my phone.
