It’s time for a new Tripomatic

Tripomatic has come a long way since it started as a “pet project” almost three years ago. We’ve improved our coverage from a dozen cities in Europe to pretty much every major destination worldwide. We’ve introduced mobile apps on three platforms and we helped over a million users plan their trip. But we’re far from finished.

Today, we have the pleasure to introduce Tripomatic 2.0. We’ve reimagined and redesigned the perfect web trip planner and built it from scratch. We took advantage of modern web technologies and built one of the most sophisticated web apps you’ll find on the internet today.

We’ve spent countless hours, and probably a ton of pencils, fine tuning the user interface, so it’s powerful yet minimal. We’ve been optimizing over and over so it’s fast, and finally we unleashed the inner child to make it interactive and playful.

Tripomatic 2.0 is different. Some features are new and some old ones are gone. Tripomatic 2.0 is a foundation that unifies the underlying technology and visual style across all platforms and on which we can continue building. And we will!

The old trip planner will remain accessible for a few weeks from now. All trips will be available in both interfaces and should be 100% compatible.

You may have also noticed a new logo, which you’ll also find on Tripomatic app icon on your mobile phone as soon as you update Tripomatic app. Updates on all mobile platforms are rolling out today.
