Just came across this recently posted interview with Fabric’s founder ‘Keith Reilly’ produced by Lawrence Batchelor. This would have been shot 8 or 9 months after the club opened it’s doors for the first time in 1999 and serves as a gentle reminder of just how far London clubland has changed yet again in the last 14 years. Clubs like Turnmills, The End, Bagleys/Canvas, The 4 Aces and more recently Cable in Bermondsey Street all sadly closed due to development legal battles and CPO takeovers - it’s great to see that Fabric hasn’t changed it’s core values in the last decade. Although we have some great new venues throughout east London and many new warehouses popping up, Fabric is still the Daddy after all these years … who knows where we’d be without Fabric? not only London’s greatest modern superclub, it’s arguably already London’s greatest ever nightclub.
