QR Code Sushi has arrived!
According to Harney Sushi’s chef, Robert Ruiz, it’s a typical fact that when your clients are knowledgeable about the meal they’re consuming they’re eager to pay more and come back again and again.
After giving much thought to the idea, he came up with edible QR Codes to place in sushi that provides ingredient information about the dish. Crazy good right?
The technique used to print them is by using water based ink on rice wafers, the same type of ink used for edible assortments such as cookies, cake, etc…
This innovative idea makes a meal interactive and enhances the experience. Don’t you agree?
