The other week Claire and I popped round to see Solomon and Bob at their foster home. It was lovely to see them both doing so well and it was a bonus to get a lovely cat kiss off Bob while we were having a cuddle.

We rescued Bob a few years ago when he was found as a stray. Bob had an injured tail and had to have the majority of his tail amputated. He was also found to be fiv+ and so found his way to SFHFC. It just shows that if you can give these adorable felines a second chance, they really can flourish like Bob, helped of course by the tender loving care of Carole who now looks after them. Sadly though for every case like Bob’s, there are dozens and dozens of cats that needlessly get euthanised due to people’s misconceptions about the Feline Immunodeficiency Virus.

Please give FIV cats a chance.
