Had dinner at Baby Blues BBQ in West Hollywood. Introduced myself to the manager and told him I’d seen them on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, he was amazed I’d come from so far away and fixed me up with a great sample of his wares! A hushpuppy (a fried corn ball), a slice of brisket, some Memphis-style and baby back ribs, slices of tri-tip and their “Baby Blue Bayou” grilled bbq shrimp topped with remoulade and fresh lime - all as delicious as I’d hoped. It was served with a delicious corn bread, collard greens and the best mac and cheese I’ve ever tasted! Finished off the meal with an amazing banana pudding.
