Anonymous asked: Stop mentioning parents and how they influence the music choice. I was six when I started getting into music, music my parents never played for me or thought I would like. Every time someone makes a good point you mention a parents influence, and that's not always the case.

You’re quibbling with my words. I said friends and family. How were you able to get this music if you were six?  You had to have been exposed to it by someone you knew unless you watched MTV when no one was around. When you were in the car you likely listened to whatever the person driving wanted to listen to. A six year old doesn’t get many choices.
