Stunning news this morning from Manchester (even though the speculation had ramped up over the last few days, most thought it was just that…speculation) as Sir Alex Ferguson has announced his retirement from United effective the end of the season.

Now the race will be on to see who the successor will be to the best manager in modern English history.
