The Verdure Cocktail Recipe

You should really make room on your home bar for a tall, green bottle of Green Chartreuse.

Not familiar? The French liqueur is made from 130 herbs and spices by monks who have taken a vow of silence (only two know the recipe at any given time). Mythology aside, it’s best served cold and has distinct licorice notes that pair nicely with gin.

In The Verdure cocktail, the spice of the chartreuse and the piney taste of gin are cut by the acidity of pineapple and lime juices and sweetness of simple syrup.

Shake one up on a warm summer night, or swap out your usual Bloody Mary for this brighter brunch cocktail.
