This week’s film is the legendary Invasion of Astro-Monster, arguably the pinnacle of the “Golden Age” of kaiju eiga. The film is the sixth entry in the Godzilla series, and was directed by genre Ishiro Honda. Invasion of Astro-Monster was released in Japan on the 19th of December,1965, with this accompanying theatrical poster.
This movie is SO GREAT. And Kumi Mizuno’s in it as the ultimate outer space femme fatale!!
