In today’s message, we see Habakkuk praying his heart out to God in the midst of so much injustice and violence.
As we face any trial we need to understand that in order for us to be able to stand up and move in the right direction we need to:
Stay and engage in prayer. Many times we exhaust all our resources and we leave prayers for last and we don’t realize that Jesus is the only one that can help us in any crisis we faced.
Let’s exhibit patience. Many times we get impatient and tired of waiting for a response from God. This situation can get us in trouble. Sometimes it requires a trial to make us the person that HE wants us to be. HE wants to make sure we are mature enough and we learn to have control of our lives.
On any trial, wait upon GOD and something powerful will happen. Isaiah 40:31 says “But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint”.
Enter in perspective. Let’s not focus on the trial because it will put us down and leave us sideways. God wants to enlarge us and strengthen our lives. Let’s ask GOD to give us wisdom and not despair in moments of trial.
Exercise faith. Always trust God even if things don’t look good. HE sees the other side of whatever is going on in our lives. We are to live by faith and not by sight. HE is able, HE is on our side and HE is always there in everything we do. Let’s keep pushing forward in our trials. Our REDEEMER lives inside us.
