The other day during my daily (or rather hourly) run through Facebook I stumbled upon some word porn. Metanoia. All I could think was “finally, the word to describe my sudden urge to change found me’ and as you may have gathered by now am a strong believer of the "everything happens for a reason” clan. The universe is responding and the train is in motion. 

So as I have now embarked on this beautiful journey of better myself and become the best me I have ever been, I made my usual 6am list (6AM is my golden hour for thoughts/creations/ideas/discoveries). I labeled this list “Change Of Habits”.

  1. Save more
  2. Read more
  3. Write more
  4. Explore more
  5. Snap more
  6. Paint more
  7. Learn more
  8. Finance more
  9. Sleep more
  10. Experience more

At first start to list activities I wanted to do less of but then I realised that I was thinking in a more negative manner and surely it would be easier doing more of things I love rather than less of the ones that I deem unnecessary. Am I making sense here? oh well.

I am hoping that if I fill those 10 jars of habits to the brim than my mental and physical being shall be in a state of happiness and satisfaction. There are some habits on the list that are harder to master than others but there is nothing better than a good challenge, right? 

Writing this post I realise that this might sound like am starting my new years resolution a few months too early doesn’t it? Ha. I assure you that this isn’t a new years resolution but rather as I recently have learned its simply metanoia.
