Social media intern wanted for Unseen
By Vandejong
Vandejong teamed up with Foam and Platform A to organise the first international photography fair in the Netherlands, Unseen. After a successful first edition in 2012, we’re working hard on the second edition coming September. Now Unseen’s communication team is looking for a Social Media Intern to assist in the maintenance of the social media channels.
Are you a blogger who is familiar with the fast pace of online activity and have an interest in social media and online communication? This might just be the internship for you. You will be involved in all aspects of the online communication strategy of Unseen.
You will assist in managing Unseen’s social media presence on well-established channels such as Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter and YouTube. You will assist the Online Editor and Digital Editorial Intern in creating content (e.g., researching new content, staying up-to-date with the latest trends in contemporary photography and, more specifically, with participating galleries and represented photographers, provoking interesting conversations with industry professionals, etc.) and developing a content calendar for the social media channels. You will work as a team to create a dynamic platform for the discussion of contemporary photography.
You are a native English-speaker with adequate Dutch language comprehension, have excellent writing skills and experience working online. You are enthusiastic, ambitious, flexible, based in Amsterdam and can work well independently as well as in smaller teams.
The internship is a full-time position for a period of three months (mid-July to mid-October). To apply, please send your CV and a brief cover letter before Monday, 29 July to lotte@unseenamsterdam.com.
