Postcard-perfect mid-century modern
As a follow-up to yesterday’s post about the creation of Kevin Roche’s leaf rug for the Millers, today we have two photographs of the rug in the Living Room. Of the many custom rugs found throughout the Miller House, the leaf rug designed by Kevin Roche John Dinkeloo & Associates was the most intricate to design and fabricate.
The overall effect of the rug in situ with the conversation pit, Eames sofa, and Mrs. Miller’s paperweight collection is nothing short of postcard-perfect mid-century modern interior design.
