The New Zealand Parliament’s desire to understand technology is roughly akin to Mel Gibson’s appreciation of Judaism. And since many MPs are ignorant, it appears they listen solely to the “advice” of American lobbyists and, presumably, some of the Prime Minister’s friends from the Morgan Stanley days.
Time for India and the eastern hemisphere to rise up as technological hotbeds.
