See, that’s what the app is perfect for.

Sounds perfect Wahhhh, I don’t wanna

In 2012, Mike Daily was hard at work putting together the long-awaited - as in 25 years awaited! - 13th issue of Aggro Rag Freestyle Mag.  We had been talking about it on the phone and over texts. Somewhere in those conversations Mike mentioned writing something about Damon Frost since he’s always been a topic of discussion for people who read the first issue of Freestylin’ real time and saw Damon’s photo and brief interview then nothing afterward creating a kind of mystery for those early riders.  At first I wasn’t sure what to say or how to organize all the thoughts I had but as soon as I started typing words flew and I typed fiendishly digging deep for those memories as related to the time and age we were.  What follows flowed in about 20 minutes and with a bit of editing, it was done.  It felt good to write about Damon - someone who deserves to be remembered for his contributions and influence to our scene in Golden Gate Park before many had taken notice of the entire port much less our little part of it.  I’ll always appreciate those years when life was up for grabs and somehow I managed to grab a tow on this BMX thing for an incredible ride thanks to being inspired by people like Damon.
