When it comes to the Mainstream Media, Fox News yet again dominated the ratings in the second quarter, taking the top 13 of the top thirty news programs out of anyone on television, with The O'Reilly Factor holding strong as the most watched news program in the nation. MSNBC takes up where Fox leaves off at #14 with Rachel Maddow and holds the next 5 spots until Piers Anthony at #19. CNN saw a drop of 35% in ratings compared to the same time last year.

Everyone knows CNN sucks and FOX’s demographic is anyone over 50 with a pulse. Unfortunately for MSNBC, while their reporting is excellent, most young moderate-to-progressive informed viewers are getting most of their information online these days.

None the less, having held the top 10 ten ratings positions on television for many years now, when Fox News bellyaches about the Mainstream Media, is it just because they are self-loathing?
