Come tomorrow, my baby will be one month shy of turning 2! Cue the tears of my baby not being so much of a baby anymore. I am happy TJ grabbed her camera yesterday afternoon for Noah’s cousin’s soccer game. These pictures of him playing with his cousins gets me excited for all the fun things he will get to do now that he is getting older. Not to mention, all the big brother skills he can learn to help his mama out..lol.

Thanksgiving Day Recap
We were up early to have breakfast with Matt’s family, and we started the day stuffing our faces with bacon and cheese quiche. A meltdown by our monkey (those 2 year molars are something else), cut our visit a little short and it was nice to just be lazy at home for a few hours.
In the afternoon we headed to my Aunt’s house. Cousin time for Noah, and a family trip to Target at 6PM all happened. We are apparently a family that likes to eat and shop together!
As our family grows I am constantly reminded of what really matters to me. Not just during the holidays, but in everyday life. I am so thankful for my whole family. <3
Tonight was for some family time. <3
Pretty much we ate and watched The Cosby Show/Noah drunkenly walk around.

baby cardigans + gymboree + carne asada tacos + homemade salsa + family time + walks in the park + wood grill buffet + old friends + birthday surprises + cake + star trek movie date + kinda sleeping in + cotton candy
Uncle JR comes to town….
Noah is officially 8 months old as of yesterday, and Uncle JR was in town to spoil him. Presents included super hero swag and Noah’s very first bacon..lol. The day was for breakfast outside + window shopping in downtown + ipad buying (for JR) + a roller derby bout + and some really good fried chicken from pollo campero!
I am hoping that the little family time has convinced Uncle JR a little more about moving closer to home. Nothing beats having family around in my book! :)
The trial run of meeting Santa resulted in Noah refusing to sit on his lap. He did manage to give Santa a high five and take the candy cane that was offered to him..lol. Also, watching balloons float in the sky ranks way higher than watching those scary fireworks!
One of us thinks that being on vacation means waking up even earlier! 😜
Dumpling house with the whole family, and now waiting for Noah’s pizza creation to cook! We are currently snacking on my first of twelve days of presents from TJ. I am ending the night with a Noah date night while Matt takes his little bro out for his first legal beer!
As a kid, every holiday and birthday was filled with a family party of some type. As the years have gone by, there is a lot less time with our extended family. And with Noah getting older, I want so bad for him to have the cousin filled childhood I had. So Easter was at my house today, and my boy had the time of his life with his cousins.
Easter was for a boy who couldn’t care less about his easter basket + noah in a suit + church with the fam + a ridiculous amount of eggs for the egg hunt + egg russian roulette + letting Matt down at the egg toss (i have to remember not to close my eyes..lol) + lots of eating
When you take a shower in the morning and get back into PJs, you know it is going to be a good day. Hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas!
Two date nights in less than a week, best anniversary present we could ask for. Still crazy it has been 19 years together, with 14 of them married. ❤️
