R.I.P. Ralph McQuarrie. This was the man who was more responsible for the look and feel for the original Star Wars trilogy more so than even George Lucas himself. It was McQuarrie’s visionary paintings that got Star Wars made. He made an enormous impression on countless people all over the world. He passed today at age 82 but will never be forgotten.
