Here’s my little pink-and-green homage to Lilly Pulitzer, who passed away earlier this month. I’ve never worn any of her dresses or other apparel (they go up to a size 16, which has usually been still below my normal size) but many, many pieces of Lilly have passed through my hands – everything from vintage ‘60s pieces (with “The Lilly” label) to contemporary shifts with ornate cotton lace and even 4 yards of old-stock Lilly jacquard (bought for $1.99 at a thrift shop and resold for $90+). I love the bright prints and the charming details (such as the Lilly lace hem tape and the signature “Lilly” hidden in each print). Anyhow, enough about LP. Is everyone loving spring yet? Me three.

And, OK, one more thing about Lilly for you thrifters – vintage Lilly Pulitzer men’s clothing is rare and popular on ebay; pick it up if you find it.
