Chaya Babu is a Brooklyn-based writer, journalist, educator, and organizer. She was a 2016 BuzzFeed Emerging Writers Fellow, a 2015 Open City Fellow with the Asian American Writers’ Workshop, and her work has appeared in The Margins, Racialicious, The Feminist Wire, The Wall Street Journal, India Abroad and more. She’s currently pursuing her MFA in writing at Pratt Institute and is working on a memoir about her time living in Mumbai.
Maya Binyam is a writer and editor living in Brooklyn. Her writing has appeared or is forthcoming in The New Inquiry, The Awl, The Hairpin, Real Life, and elsewhere.
Alice Sola Kim is a left-handed anchor baby living in New York. Charles Theonia is a poet and teacher from Brooklyn, where they are working to externalize their interior femme landscape. They are the author of Which One Is the Bridge and a co-editor of Femmescapes.
Syreeta McFadden is a Brooklyn based writer, photographer and adjunct professor of English. Her work has appeared in the New York Times Magazine, The Guardian, BuzzFeed, NPR, The Nation and Storyscape Journal. She is currently working on collections of short stories and essays.
