At 62 Years Young, Liam Neeson Is Loving His Career As An Action Hero
Soon to hit theaters, A WALK AMONG THE TOMBSTONES is the big screen adaptation of one of the many titles in the series of best selling novels by LAWRENCE BLOCK featuring former-cop-turned-unlicensed-private eye Matthew Scudder. A recovering alcoholic who more often than not casts a blind eye to the finer points of the law, Scudder is BLOCK’S most popular creation and a bona fide action anti-hero.
Directed by SCOTT FRANK (from his own screenplay), the film stars LIAM NEESON as the iconic private eye and places him smack dab in the center of the action as Scudder searches for the kidnapped daughter of a notorious drug lord.
This isn’t NEESON’S first time as an action star and at the age of 62, he hopes it isn’t his last. In town this week to promote the new film, he talked about his action inspirations.
