Arianna Palazzi (On Tumblr), Mirror Series.

The message I want to share through this piece called “Destroy what destroys you” from 0 - Mirror Series is not in any way related to self destruction/self harm.
The mirror is broken because in order to be perfect people tend to destroy themselves, they often look at their reflection in the mirror and don’t like it. That’s why you need to destroy that image which is the cause of your own destruction.
This is what I want to say with this.
Don’t believe your eyes, they fool you. Destroy what destroys you. Destroy what makes you unhappy. But don’t destroy yourself, destroy what makes you want to destroy yourself.

Come as you are.
Nobody wants to see perfection, perfection is something that can’t be achieved anyway and the more you try to be “perfect” the less individual will you look…beauty is a stereotype, come as you are! Fill the world with your beautiful differences, let people look for them when they see you, let them notice your physical - and psychological - traits and let them learn to love them.
Life is anything but perfection; perfection is boring and repetitive, life is a consequence of beautiful accidents that constantly change everything.
Be what you are, don’t pretend to be something you aren’t.
Don’t be artificial, be genuine, be pure, be free.
Imperfections make us beautiful and unique, never forget it.
