Michael Weiner will be remembered for creating unprecedented cooperation between the players’ union and MLB, particularly with respect to PEDs.

January 19, 2013 - MLBPA executive director Michael Weiner and R.A. Dickey at the BBWAA New York Dinner.  Dickey introduced Weiner, who was presented with the “You Gotta Have Heart” award.

Michael Weiner lost his battle with brain cancer yesterday.  He was 51.
