waffle patterns cookie blouson for winter

My cookie blouson sewing pattern is intended for fall or spring season jackets originally. But I just tried this for winter, so here is my winter version cookie blouson.

The main fabric is very soft acryl wool mix and coordinated with fake fur on the collar instead of rib knit. If you use thick fabric for the shell like this, It should be enough soft for gathering.

I added the length to the hem rib knit and collar about +2cm for making volume as accents.

We can not put zipper on fur directly (it will make it very difficult to open/close the zipper), so I use rib knit fabrics on the center front of the collar about 2cm width.

The lining is flannel with polkadot print. it is very warm, and OK until about 5-7℃ temperature, although not OK for the Dutch winter.  It will be warmer with fleece lining.

You can buy the cookie blouson sewing pattern here. and Here is how to attach lining to cookie blouson blog posts.
