In need of a little help!
So, I got bitten by something a couple of nights ago and this is the result :| I’m wondering if anyone out there in tumblrland can help identify what the fuck bit me as it’s itchy as fuck and refuses to heal no matter how much I clean it and refuse to scratch it!
Outlined is the area of my foot I want to tear off 24 hours a day and strangely, the red/purpley area is not itchy.
If it helps, I got bitten Friday, possibly Thursday, and it’s driving me nuts. I mean, I got bitten 109 times last year in one night (I’m sure I wrote about it here somewhere if I didn’t, my legs felt like they were on fire 24hrs a day) and as itchy as that was, THIS SINGLE FUCKING BITE is about 3 times worse.
The red area around the bite/hole is very firm too. I’ve not lost any feeling in my foot or anything like that, it’s just really itchy, doesn’t bleed and refuses to heal.
Can anyone help?
wumples answered: This really looks like a brown recluse bite. Had a buddy that almost lost his leg after a BR bite, go to the doctor please!
sidewalkbeat answered: Depending on what part of the country you’re in, it could be a Hobo Spider or Brown Recluse. Either way, you need antibiotics. Stat.
