C'mon Sealegs - Immaculate Machine

My relationship with Immaculate Machine is one of great rarity. Every time I have ever had the opportunity to see them live I have taken advantage of the opportunity. I have seen them everywhere from Lucky Bar in Victoria BC to a free show on the waterfront for the Dragon Boat Festival to a friend of a friends art studio. They are an amazing band and I will love them always. The artists themselves flit around with such an airy and humble demeanor you can’t help but want to be friends with them.

It’s not easy for me to pick a favorite song of theirs. Every song I have heard has been excellent. I have yet to hear a song put out by them that sounds like they did a half ass’d job. There’s nothing better than being able to see, hear, and feel that an artist has given their all into their work. I have so much respect for modest bands like Immaculate Machine that don’t flaunt themselves. When artists are on stage and they are cracking you up and have you saying to yourself, “Yeah, I can see myself hanging out with them.”, you know they are doing their job just perfectly.
