この取り組みでは、フェイスブックがWi-Fiアクセスポイント機能を備えたルーターを小売店や飲食店などに無償で配布する。このWi-Fiアクセスポイントのある店舗でフェイスブックアプリのチェックイン機能を利用したユーザーは、無料でネットに接続することができる。なお、チェックインしたユーザーの画面には、その店舗のFacebookページが表示される（「Inside Facebook」によれば、チェックインを望まないユーザーは店側の判断でパスワードをもらってWi-Fi接続することもできるという）。
