katespringer:

My uncle came to visit this past weekend so we took a bit of a roundabout walk/bus/hike up to Hong Kong’s famed Victoria Peak.

We intended to hike up but couldn’t find the right trail. Then we opted for the tram, but the wait was too long. So as a last ditch effort, we tried to find bus No. 15 with some misleading directions from a tram worker. After a dozen confusing conversations with Chinese people, we made it to the top of the mountain two hours later, soaked up the views, had a Chinese lunch, and strolled around the many mountaintop trails.

Definitely blazing through wilderness … just looked at those treacherously paved pathways.
