Leading Staffordshire Moorlands Salon The Passion Pit is taking the art world by storm again. The Leek-based business is delighted to introduce Miss Lisa Stannard - Illustration & Print Designer and her limited edition prints. Using a variety of freehand and software techniques, Lisa’s illustrations are works of art. She often splices female model figures with her creative style.

Lisa regularly jets off to L.A. to meet with Whitney Eve Port (The Hills/Teen Vogue) about print designs for her clothing range Whitney Eve. She can also be seen liaising with popstar-turned-retailer Lily Allen, creating chic illustrations for the singer’s Lucy in Disguise clothing label.

Lisa’s a Northern girl at heart and is quickly establishing herself as one of fashion/illustration’s hottest properties. She even lectures in Fashion for Salford University and Textiles for Manchester school of Art.

Passion Pit Director Libbi Kirkby said: “We’re constantly evolving and staying on-trend with hair styles. We’ve started to rent out salon chairs to Freelancers and Self Employed Stylists as there seems to be more of a demand for it. Lisa’s art is another welcome change and we sold one print before it even reached the salon!”

The prints form part of a limited run for the hair salon. There are various sizes including some beautiful A2 formats, signed, numbered and printed on high quality textured paper all framed by local Leek framing professionals Sherratt and Reece. The Passion Pit doesn’t expect them be around for long so if you’re interested, book in for a cut and check them out.
