The fact that they put wasabi in EVERY THING POSSIBLE totally irked me off and destroyed my appetite whenever i accidentally ate it. I mean it literally that every thing has wasabi. So if you hate wasabi like me, either request beforehand or just avoid this restaurant.

Food wise, the sashimi were really good and fresh in general, especially the salmon. But the portion are tiny, which is a pity. The soba (I’m a huge fan of soba) was sadly to say, very ordinary and not really worth a mention. Then again i could be biased as i just tasted the best soba ever when i was in tokyo 2 weeks before.

Overall, i think there is better restaurant around that offers what Botan could and even more. The price wise (around $24++ before tax) was also not attractive. The amount of variety that Botan offers (although small in portion) should be mentioned though.
