Focus All of Your Attention on the Inner Sound During Meditation and Merge Into the Divine
“This Sound preceded the creation of the universe and is therefore called ‘the Sound of the Beginning.’ This Sound helps the soul to realize its original form, and, is therefore known as the Sound of Universal Consciousness. This Sound emerges from the Divine and is known as the primal burst of creation or Origin. This Sound descended from above as the Divine Music, and, is therefore known as the 'Song from Above.’ This Sound brings auspiciousness to all, and, is therefore known as the 'Shiva Naam.’ This Sound controls both material (apara) and non-material (para) natures (prakriti), and, therefore is known as fierce Shakti or pure Divine energy. A practitioner’s consciousness stream, or a soul that attaches to this Shabd (Sound), is able to merge into the Ocean of the Incomprehensible Bliss of the Supreme Being (reaches the realm beyond Sound, Shabdateet*). After uniting with the Supreme Being, the soul attains Moksha or Liberation. This marks the cessation of the wandering of the soul in the cycle of rebirth and death.” (Swami Vyasanand, The Inward Journey of the Soul – Chal Hamsa Nij Desh: O, Swan-Soul Return to Your Abode, Amazon Kindle E Book).
*Note: Shabdateet: The Highest Level of the Top Plane of Creation; The Soundless God; Anami (The Nameless One); Lord of the Soul (Radhasoami);
The ultimate goal is to merge into the upper level of Sach Khand or Kaivalya (Shabdateet, Kaivalyatit or Kaivalyaateet), the Ultimate Reality of God in the Nirguna or Formless State, also described with terms such as Anami (Nameless) and Anadi (Eternal Soundlessness). Maharshi Mehi stated in the Philosophy of Liberation: “The center of the realm of Kaivalya (Oneness or Pure Consciousness) is the Supreme Sovereign Itself.” He also said: “Beyond the Realm of Oneness, there is only the Supreme Sovereign.” Swami Santsevi Ji, in, The Harmony of All Religions, explains: “In the final stages of this practice, the aspirant goes beyond the veil of material creation and reaches the realm of Kaivalya (a state of absolute freedom from conditioned existence). This is where the soul comes to experience the Divine. But even in this realm there is a thin veil, and complete union with the Divine is not yet possible. Upon acquiring the final Essential Sound in Kaivalya, the soul ascends upward to the Nihshabad (Absolute Soundless State, a state of Absolute Unity). There the soul becomes one with the Divine.” (8th Heaven, God)
