Pokemon Type Challenge - Electric.
Ampharos. always loved ampharos, and always got a hold of one if it was available in the games early on. i still have one my black 2 game called Michael :) and hes badass.
i am DETERMINED to do all of these i tell you lol. Ampharos is based on sheep/bipedal things/okapi and goats and stuff :)
Pokemon type challenge - Dragon.
Dragonite. it was always going to be this baby. The original powerhouse of the elite four champion and still one of my favourites. nothing really compares for me, even when its so derpy in real life. The one here is a continuation of my dratini line inspired by the Frilled shark thats just a wonderful little sea demon. but my old design was far too out of place with dragonite, it looks too dinosaur-y and this one is jsut better in every way. in..my opinion that is XD

Pokemon Type Challenge - Dark
Umbreon. because i love it. its the tank of the eevee world, and when i was in gold and silver, the only dark type that i felt was any good. I used to draw it as a bigger, wolf like creature, but i think just a stockier framed fox/cat hybrid works nicely, especially with Eye-Eye like eyes for NOCTURNAL STUFF.
A couple of people have actually asked me about mega-pokemon and particularly mega Ampharos.
Well, i gotta say, i think its pretty badass.
I looked at creatures like Haku from spirited away, maned, dog like dragons and just thought, ’ yeah i can see it’. long, lustrous manes are common in Chinese dragons and Japanese dragons. Besides, when i see the anime art, i see the guy above. I love Ampharos :)
i gave him teeth too. implying that this rapid evolution, which must be horribly painful, promotes aggressive behaviour. Along with that, more hair like under the chin and elbows. he is a wise old Ampharos dragon.
Pokemon type challenge - Grass
Meganium. I actually used sceptile more, but i love the design on meganium and before gen 3, i always used it as my ideal grass type instead of sceptile (because i tended to use swampert) plus i wasn't too keen on bulbasaur…though that may be because if i got bulbasaur, Gary got charmander. and that is unacceptable.
When it comes to dinosaur-like pokemon…bigger is always better and Meggy is no difference. the anatomy is probably horribly off, but it needed to be bigger :) the grass types always seem to be these huge creatures just shrunk down :I and to me, it makes sense that as a plant based creature, with other meas of sustaining itself almost constantly through the day, would have the capacity to grow very large in contrast to other organisms. HAVE A YOU!
Pokemon Type challenge - Psychic
Mewtwo, but film version only. the only pokemon that got close to killing ash. ugh, Mewtwo finish him off again!! RJ palmer (arvalis) has done a stunning Mewtwo, that i cant really say id want to change on, with the exception of the face (as shown) so i thought id go for him in armour. the colouring kinda ruined it. but here :) here’s my favourite psychic type.
pokemon type challenge - Poison
Scolipede. because if you say no to a horse bug…you are insane. one of the few poison types i enjoy, plus it had rollout, which was an awesome bonus that early in the game. and it had a weapon against the birds :)

Mega Dragonite…
I’ve been looking at Dragonite compared to the other dragons. And there’s no denying he is quite derpy.
But im wondering….maybe its ‘cutesy’ look and the fact that it’s mega evolution hasn’t been revealed yet is because it could be…
A Fairy / Dragon type pokemon!
I mean, this is me just literally throwing a totally random idea from my head, but hell, it would be very cool. And if it were true, it would explain why they haven’t released it or wont release it for a while, it would undermine fairy pokemon which have only JUST been released.
But yeah, this is now what i would like Nintendo to do.

Another Merman. This time its @colorslashform with a Blue Sea Dragon. A bit more eldritch, this one, but we agreed to go for something a little more out there for him :)
