How did you celebrate winning your PV gold medal at London 2012?
I decided I wanted to celebrate with people who helped support me in Western New York.  No better way to celebrate the Vault than by vaulting some more. So I did a tour of vaults in the region.  One of them was right down middle of the street in the town center of Fredonia, New York.

If you had to choose another event outside of the Pole Vault you would want to star in what would it be and why? 
I would choose any event that requires only track spikes and a uniform because travelling with poles is challenging.

What did you have for breakfast today? 
Fresh-baked Gluten free multigrain bread that I toasted and added some honey to. 

Favourite pre-competition snack? 
Usually I am too nervous to eat so I try to just eat some yogurt and fruit.

What are your plans for today? 
Today I plan on raking leaves, picking up sticks, working out, swimming and finishing up the rest of my halloween outfit!

If anyone could play you in a film, who would it be? 
Kendall Jenner,  I figure she is tall and her father knows a thing or two about pole vault!

Who was your most impressive teacher at school? 
In 5th grade I had a teacher who said he could triple the amount of push ups anyone in the classroom could do.  He actually did it and he was a 60 year old science teacher!

What’s the one thing you have to take with you around the circuit?
My coach.

Have any superstitions? 
I don’t believe in superstitions.

If you weren’t an athlete what would you be doing? 
I would be a School Psychologist and a high school basketball coach.

What’s the worst thing you’ve ever worn? 
I wore jean suspenders but in my defense they were in style and I was young!

How much money do you have in your pocket at the moment? 
I have nothing!  It is a plastic kind of world these days.

Do you have a favourite holiday destination? 
I love Florida so anytime I can get there for vacation or business, I love it!

Could you name three celebrities you would want to invite as dinner party guests ? 
Clint Eastwood, Cesar Milan, Bill Cosby.
